	The volume tackles the theme of the one-family houses, which were constructed in occasion of the 5th Triennale of Milan in 1993 and demolished after it closed. 	The volume represents the catalogue of the homonymous exhibition by Prof. Marco Rosario Nobile and realized by the Central Library of Sicily in collaboration with the Department of History and Project in Architecture of University of Palermo. The book collects a selection of volumes, all edited between 16th and 19th century not only in Sicily but also in the world, which were used for architects’ professional education. It’s is subdivided into six sections, organized following a chronological and thematic order. In Sicily, between 17th and 18th century, an increasing number of professionals belonged to Clergy and had therefore a theoretical and mathematical education. The collections of books of architecture, the private construction of libraries, even the elaboration of press texts were used in didactics and also in collecting models. 	The Carmine church plays an important role in the small town of Sciacca, close to Agrigento.
